‘City as Process’ - 15 ECTS

The Urban Body sets out to visualize the complexities emergent in the contemporary urban condition by mapping and diagramming the dynamic (virtual) process

Architectural Body (AR0310)
'Process to Product’ - 12 ECTS

The Architectural Body is an architectural design task that runs parallel with the Urban Body analysis and design. The course focuses at translating urban flows into a body of architecture. Students will utilize the mapping and diagramming results (generated from the Urban Body analysis) to design an architectural body that itself is part of the new urban condition.

Materia (AR0315)
‘Substance & Matter’ - 3 ECTS

Materia focuses at investigating the nature of ‘substance’ and ‘matter’ of an architectural body. It is a free choice lecture and discussion series targeted at enhancing the discourse concerning architectural design process and presentation.
